Facts

On June 28, 1997, while attending a wrestling show at the Arrowhead Pond arena in Anaheim, plaintiffs, who were minors, sat as spectators in the first row next to the ring.
As part of their choreography for the show, one of the defendant wrestlers attempted to do a ôreverse whipö move on another defendant wrestler.
The defendant wrestler on whom the reverse whip was executed flew backwards outside of the ring into some rails, 4 to 5 feet from where the plaintiffs were sitting and pinned the rails on the plaintiffs, thereby causing them injuries.

Settlement Discussions

The plaintiffs settled with arenaÆs on-site management company for $20,000.00 prior to mediation. As to the promoter and individual wrestlers, the case was fully settled at mediation.
