Facts
On Dec. 8, 1997, plaintiff, a 28-year-old, visited the dental office of defendant Reihm and was examined by defendant Bowers, who diagnosed plaintiff with seven cavities. On Jan. 19, 1998, defendant Reihm filled three cavities. On July 29, 1998, defendant Bowers filled four cavities and diagnosed two additional cavities. Plaintiff returned on Aug. 3, 1998, reporting sensitivity which defendant Bowers stated would alleviate with time. Dissatisfied with this response, plaintiff consulted another dentist in Vista who changed two of the recent restorations and found no decay on the last two teeth diagnosed by defendant Bowers.

Plaintiff demanded $15,000 before trial, $30,000 during trial. Defendants made no offers.
