Sherry Stone was employed at the maximum-security prison in Florence. She claimed that her supervisor made
inappropriate comments and knocked papers off her desk during an outburst. She complained of a hostile work
environment and requested a reassignment. The plaintiff was reassigned to an area where her job was to
supervise inmates in a recreation yard, a lower-graded job.

Settlement Discussions
