Facts

The plaintiff was a 4-year-old child who was shopping with her mother at the defendant store when she was
struck by an In-line skater who was employed by the store. The plaintiff stepped from a side aisle into a main
aisle and was struck by the employee and knocked the minor plaintiff down. The plaintiff suffered a concussion
and claimed epilepsy as a result of the incident.

Settlement Discussions

This case had been previously settled by prior plaintiffÆs counsel for $60,000 and was set for court approval hearing when the mother decided to change the plaintiffÆs lawyers. The case was settled with the assistance of Jeffrey Krivis.
