The plaintiff, while driving his automobile, was rear-ended by another driver and was injured as a result. The
plaintiff contended that the defendant was negligent in driving her vehicle and that this negligence resulted in
him being rear-ended and sustaining injuries.
The defendant stated that she was startled by the presence of a mouse in her car and
