Robbie Heisler, a 44-year-old family therapist, claimed she was struck by Robert DeRose's car. Heisler claimed she was holding a street parking space for a friend when she was struck twice by a Porsche driven by DeRose. DeRose contended that he did not strike Heisler, and that Heisler walked up to his stopped vehicle and rested one or both knees against the bumper.
