The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) filed a lawsuit against Commerce Planet Inc. and several of its directors and officers alleging deceptive and unfair business practices.
Result
The district court found Charles Gugliuzza liable for the deceptive and unfair marketing of OnlineSupplier in violation of the FTC Act. The Court issued a permanent injunction against Gugliuzza and ordered him to pay $18.2 million in restitution.
