Facts

The plaintiff had represented the defendants on several litigation matters, including one to the Supreme Court of The United States. The defendants, some of whom were prior operators and the founders of Gloria Marshal Figure Salons, failed to pay for services when due. Some of the defendants had promised the plaintiff that when a $10 million house was sold, the plaintiff would be paid, but the plaintiff was neither told of the sale, or paid. The plaintiff was further told that when an interest in a multi-million dollar commercial complex was sold, he would be paid. Again, the plaintiff was neither told nor paid upon sale.

Other Information

Prejudgment attachments were obtained against accounts receivables and real property. Some of the defendants appeared to have attempted to evade service of process. One of the defendants successfully mediated the ultimate settlement between the plaintiff and all the defendants.
