Third Estate LLC dba Dope and Dope Couture filed an infringement action against Paislee Ltd., Paislee MV Inc., and The Adoni Group Inc.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Plaintiffs contended that defendants brazenly sold and continued to sell knock off imitations of plaintiffs' DOPE apparel. Thus, plaintiffs asserted causes of action for federal trademark infringement, federal counterfeiting, false designation of origin, federal trademark dilution, common law and statutory trade name infringement, unfair competition, common law unfair competition, and state trademark dilution.

Result

The parties entered into a consent judgment and a permanent injunction, enjoining defendants from manufacturing, selling, or otherwise distributing products bearing the word "dope."
