Warner Bros. Home Entertainment sued Anthem LLC for copyright infringement.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Warner Bros. owned the distribution rights to various creative works in the United States, including the television shows "Sopranos," "The Wire," and "Nip/Tuck." These works were all entitled to copyright protection. Anthem engaged in the business of selling counterfeit copies of these shows, and distributing them through Amazon.com.

Result

The court granted a permanent injunction, prohibiting the defendants from committing any infringing activities.
