Facts

Airbus SAS manufactured an Airbus A330 aircraft operated by Air France, which crashed
over the Atlantic Ocean in 2009. Numerous plaintiffs, including two U.S. citizens, filed suit against Airbus and others in the United States.

Contentions

DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS:
Airbus argued that France was the proper venue for litigation since France was a more convenient venue and plaintiffs' claims would be subject to French Law.

Result

The court dismissed the action, finding France was the more convenient forum.
