Facts
Plaintiff Judith G. Grell, a 49-year-old senior systems and procedures analyst, had been employed by Defendant Rockwell International Corporation for 27 years and had an excellent performance record. However, in May of 1992, Rockwell discovered that, from 1983 to 1992, Plaintiff had been using her office computer to perform personal work during normal work hours. Plaintiff also sold Mary Kay Cosmetics to Rockwell employees on 2 occasions and typed several letters for her husband's business, all during her Rockwell work hours. On May 29, 1992, Plaintiff was discharged.
