In February 1991, plaintiff MRC Foodservice Equipment & Supplies, Inc., which represents overseas manufacturers of kitchenware and tabletop items and defendant Falcon Products, Inc., manufacturer and re-seller of kitchenwares and furniture, entered into a written agreement that provided that Falcon would pay MRC 5 percent commission on all goods Falcon purchased from suppliers who MRC introduced to Falcon.
