Facts

The plaintiff, a registered nurse at County Harbor UCLA Medical Center alleged that she was a victim of sexual harassment by a co-worker, Mr. Ruiz. She alleged that an incident occurred in the parking lot in which she was harassed and that prior touching events had occurred in the hospital. The plaintiff further asserted that the county's failure to appropriately respond to her allegations amounted to a constructive termination of her employment. She never returned to work after the alleged parking lot incident.

Result

Summary judgment granted for the defendant County of Los Angeles. The individual defendant Ruiz was voluntarily dismissed.
