Published: May 18, 2013 | Result Date: May 3, 2013 | Filing Date: Jan. 1, 1900 |

Case number: 4:11-cv-03002-SBA Bench Decision –  Class Certification Denied

Facts

The plaintiffs filed a class action suit against Comcast, arguing that Comcast marketed and sold service plans without disclosing additional equipment fees. They argued that Comcast would offer numerous deals and services, but not mention additional fees to lease a modem.

Result

The court refused to certify the class, finding that the proposed class definition was too broad.
