Facts

On Nov. 11, 2009, Nahid Ashouri was stopped at a red light. When she proceeded forward, she was rear-ended by a vehicle operated by Bibi Christoff. Ashouri sued Christoff, alleging that she was negligent in the operation of her vehicle.

Christoff admitted liability.

Damages

Ashouri sought $30,837 for past medical costs and $100,000 for future medical costs.

Injuries

Ashouri was diagnosed with a cervical protrusion and an exacerbation of a lumbar disc bulge.

Result

The parties settled for $350,000.
