Facts
Copper-contaminated water, otherwise known as "blue water," has been the source of ongoing litigation in Contra Costa County. In 1991 Defendant Dame Construction Company brought suit against Plaintiff for his public statements linking Defendant's homes to copper-contaminated tap water. Dame claimed that Plaintiff unlawfully interfered with its home sales. Dame voluntarily dropped the underlying suit after preliminary injunction was issued. Plaintiff filed this action for malicious prosecution against Dame and their attorneys, Bronson, Bronson & McKinnon.
