This suit was originally brought by eight sets of franchisees against Defendant Minuteman Press International, Inc., and 23 of its officers, directors, and employees. The trial involved four sets of Plaintiff franchisees who alleged that they were defrauded by Defendants: Winfield W. and Patricia D. Scott; Clinton Graham; Ronald J. and Thelma Svoboda; and David A. and Brenda F. Faria. All of the Plaintiffs had entered into printing press franchise agreements with the Defendants, and their businesses either failed within the initial years commencing of business, or were not as successful as they had hoped.
