On June 5, 1997, at approximately 2 p.m., the plaintiff was a passenger in a 1991 Acura Integra. As her vehicle proceeded westbound on a green light on the I-101 at the Las Posas off-ramp, the defendant Karen Adair Soberanis, age 36, drover he 1994 Chevrolet Suburban through a red light northbound on Las Posas Road in Camarillo, colliding with plaintiff's Acura.
