The plaintiff was employed by the defendant company, a marketing firm, to perform marketing services. The
plaintiff claimed that during his employment, he met with the companyÆs largest clients.
The plaintiff expressed to management his concerns about the legality of the employerÆs billing practices,
business and compensation practices, claiming these practices violated California law and constituted fraud.
The plaintiffÆs employment was terminated.
The plaintiff brought this action against his employer and related companies based on wrongful termination.

Settlement Discussions

At mediation, the plaintiff made an initial settlement demand for $250,000. The defendants made an C.C.P. Section 998 offer of compromise for $25,000.
