The decedent was killed by defendant Lundeen with an automatic pistol at the defendant's apartment. The decedent was 15 years old. The decedent's mother sued defendant Lundeen for wrongful death and Lundeen's landlord on the theory that the landlord should have known of Lundeen's violent propensities and prevented the killing.
