Facts
In 2002, Frank Tobar was driving his SUV on Oak Street in Roseville. Tobar stopped at a red light in a left turn lane. When the light turned green, Tobar entered the intersection going straight. He then struck the driver's side bed of Joseph Tardif's pickup truck. Tardif was making a left turn from the left turn lane that was to Tobar's right. Tardif sued Tobar for vehicular negligence.
