PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Hollin contended that he retained defendants to represent him in a lawsuit alleging violation of Hollin's civil rights and violation of the Labor Code, but that defendants failed to file his complaint before the expiration of the applicable statute of limitations.
DEFENDANTS' CONTENTIONS:
Defendants contended that Hollin failed to adequately plead causation and damages as ordered by the court and that his malpractice claim was barred by the statute of limitations.
Result
The court found Hollin's claim time barred, and sustained Legal Aid's demurrer to Hollin's complaint without leave to amend.
