Facts

On June 2, 1992, Plaintiff, a 45-year-old industrial leadership consultant, slipped and fell while descending tile stairs located at the entrance to Defendant's country club. The stairs had been recently watered by Defendant's custodian. Plaintiff had walked up the wet stairs, tried a door to find that it was locked, and slipped while descending the same steps.
