Facts

The plaintiff, a minimum-wage employee, had been working at the defendantÆs facility as a packer for over a year
prior to being terminated due to her pregnancy. At the time of her firing, the defendant told the plaintiff that she
was fired because it was not safe for her to continue to work at the facility while being pregnant.
The plaintiff contended that the defendant violated the FEHA statute for pregnancy discrimination.
The defendant denied all allegations.
