On May 30, 1995, plaintiff Colette Copsey, a 47-year-old telephone operator, was injured while employed at the Pacific Bell facilities in San Bruno. Defendant American Air Company was performing work at the facility on the heating/air conditioning/ventilation system at the time of the plaintiff's complaints. The plaintiff brought this action against the defendant based on a negligence theory of recovery.
