Facts

Defendant, a school district, developed plans to build an adult school in a rural area with the capacity to serve 400 students on the campus at any one time. Plaintiff, a group of homeowners, sued defendant, alleging violations of the California Environmental Quality Act because the project failed to consider the impact of excessive traffic on the region among other issues.

Result

Defendant is temporarily enjoined from expanding the adult school until until final judgment or further order of the court.
