On August 24, 1988, Plaintiff Shirley Hollingsworth, a 67-year-old homemaker, alleged that she was struck by a clamp truck (dolly), which was loaded with produce and operated by Defendant's employee. Plaintiff did not fall down as a result of being struck; she walked to the front of the Defendant Hughes Markets, Inc., store and reported the incident.
