In January of 1988, Plaintiff Christine Kay sold her metal polish distribution business to 2 individuals. She was later sued for fraud, breach of contract, and other causes of action as a result of that sale. Defendants The Law Offices of Tucker & Kodani represented Christine Kay as a Defendant in the underlying case and Cross-complained against the individuals for breach of contract, fraud, negligent infliction of emotional distress, and other causes of action. The underlying case settled in Ms. Kay's favor in January of 1991 in the amount of $200-260,000 present value structure. The settlement was reached as the case was called for trial.
