On June 13, 1990, Plaintiff, a 32-year-old distribution clerk in the film industry, was helping Defendant's employee to load Defendant's truck. Defendant transporting company's employee was using a palette jack which had 4-500 pounds of movie posters. The employee lost his grip on the handle and Plaintiff "braced" the descending load, sustaining injury.
