Facts

The plaintiff, a self employed roofer, went into the defendantÆs AM/PM Mini Mart to purchase gas and food. The
plaintiff was 6Æ3", weighing almost 300 pounds. When the plaintiff stepped toward the cash counter, he
slipped and fell on his back. He slipped in a puddle approximately 8Æx10Æ wide and 1/8" deep. The plaintiff
sought medical treatment for back pain. He was diagnosed with a disk herniation at L4, L5 and L5, S1.
Surgery was recommended by the plaintiff cannot afford the costs.

Settlement Discussions
