On Feb. 9, 1999, plaintiffs George, 38, and Malissa Dominguez, 35, were stopped in traffic at a red signal when
the vehicle driven by Tammy Musser rear-ended the vehicle behind the Dominguez vehicle and pushed it into
their vehicle. The plaintiff sustained $350 in damage with only scratches to the bumper being visible.

Settlement Discussions

Malissa Dominguez made a C.C.P. Section 998 demand for $3,990 and $4,990 for George Dominguez. The defendant offered $500 each at the mandatory settlement conference on the first day of trial. Middle car driver settled her injury claim for $7,500 prior to trial.
