On Aug. 1, 1994, plaintiff Lana Lee Soldano, a 51-year-old antique dealer, was injured when her vehicle collided with a vehicle operated by defendant Ernest Weyrick at an intersetion. There was a stop sign for the defendant but there were no traffic controls for the plaintiff's direction of travel. The plaintiff brought this action against the defendant based on a negligence theory of recovery.
