On Nov. 29, 1995, the plaintiff, a 74-year-old retired engineer, was driving an automobile in San Marino. The plaintiff was executing a left turn on a green arrow when his vehicle was struck on the passenger side by a vehicle operated by the defendant. The plaintiff brought this action against the defendant based on negligence theories of recovery.
