Facts
On Feb. 4, 1995, the plaintiff, a 26-year-old laborer, was hired as a processor to work aboard the defendant's vessel. The plaintiff claimed he fell and was injured on the deck of the defendant's ship. The accident was reported to the defendant's personnel and the plaintiff was taken off the ship on Feb. 8, 1995 and returned to Seattle. The plaintiff brought this action against the defendant based on negligence and premises liability theories of recovery.
