Facts

Plaintiff workers filed a breach of contract and wage and hour lawsuit against Indian IT consulting company Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. Gopi Vedachalam and Kangana Beri, former employees, alleged that the company collected their U.S. income tax refunds, deducted their Indian salary from their U.S. wages, and paid less than the salaries promised in their contracts.

In April 2012, a national class was certified to pursue the breach of contract claims and state labor law claims.
