Facts

The plaintiff purchased a Kasuga milling machine from defendant Jerry OÆDonnell and installed it at its place of
business. The defendant broke into plaintiffÆs premises and took the milling machine and various other tools.
The plaintiff corporation claimed that defendant converted tools and a machine.
The defendant contended that the machine and tools taken were his property. The mill was returned to the
plaintiff by the Los Angeles Police Department.
