Facts

Molly Munger sought an injunction against Governor Jerry Brown's tax measure that would prevent the Secretary of State from assigning proposition numbers that would then determine the order of appearance for measures on the November ballot. She claimed that the governor's measure qualified first, which secured a higher placement on the ballot and therefore a better chance of winning. Munger was campaigning for "Our Children, Our Future," another measure on the ballot that was aimed to raise income taxes to benefit public schools.

Result

Judge Michael Kenny denied the injunction.
