Facts

The plaintiff alleged that he worked for over 13 years as an editor for a magazine published by a non-profit organization and was injured when physically assaulted by the president of the organization and was defamed by the president in the magazine which plaintiff previously edited. According to the defendant, the plaintiff returned to the premises with a friend to pick up his personal belongings, even though ordered not to enter the premises. The plaintiff was injured in a physical altercation with the president of the organization. Also per the defendant, the president reported plaintiff's termination at the board meeting. The minutes of the board meeting were printed in the magazine which plaintiff previously edited.

Injuries

Torn right ulnar collateral ligament requiring surgery and physical therapy.
