On Sept. 30, 1996, plaintiff, a 56-year old visiting nurse, was making a left turn from an intersection controlled by a stop sign onto the Cajalco Expressway. The defendant was approaching the intersection at a speed approximately 7 to 12 mph over the posted speed limit. The partiesÆ vehicles collided in the intersection on plaintiffÆs side of the expressway.

The defendant made a C.C.P. º998 offer of $6,900 to plaintiff and $3,000 to intervenor insurer.

Damages

The plaintiff claimed $10,492 in medicals (disputed) and $7,000 in loss of earnings.
