The plaintiff and the defendant bus driver were proceeding down a freeway on-ramp when a collision occurred. The plaintiff, a 17-year-old student, claimed the bus rear-ended her. Defendant bus driver claimed the plaintiff unlawfully merged onto the freeway in front of him after he had successfully merged into the slow lane.
