In October 1995, plaintiff, a 58-year-old homemaker, went shopping at a Hughes Market in Granada Hills. While in defendant's store, plaintiff slipped and fell on a wet floor striking her left knee.

Settlement Discussions

The plaintiff made a statutory C.C.P. º998 offer of $39,000. The defendant made a 998 offer of $6,500, and $10,000. The case settled at mediation for $22,500.

Injuries
