Facts

On Feb. 6, 1998, at approximately 10:20 a.m., plaintiff Estelle Weissman, age 75, was a rear seat passenger in a car driven by Bruce Smee, who was traveling southbound on Moorpark Road in Thousand Oaks. Smee was traveling in the No. 2 lane when defendant made a left turn out from the parking lot at Thousand Oaks High School. Smee tried to stop his vehicle in time to avoid the collision but failed. The plaintiff's front end struck the drivers side door of defendant's vehicle. Plaintiff, Smee and the defendant all suffered injuries and were provided medical treatment as a result of this accident.

Injuries

The plaintiff experienced blurred vision for six months following the incident and was not able to driver. Her soft tissue injuries resolved within six months from the date of the accident.
