On April 18, 1997, plaintiff Frances Salazar, a 40-year-old catering truck owner, was rear ended on the 710 freeway near the Washington Boulevard off-ramp by defendant Mount Air Heating/AC Inc.'s 1989 GMC pick-up truck driven by its employee, defendant Gary Irish. The plaintiff brought this action against the defendants based on negligence.
