Facts
The plaintiff, a 56-year-old retired man, was treating with the defendant Dr. Lee Wood, for right lateral hip pain and low back pain. On May 16, 1997, Dr. Wood treated plaintiff's hip using a heat pack, ultrasound, muscle stimulation, and cold gel packs. Plaintiff appeared the following day with two severe burns in the same area treated on the previous day. The burns were diagnosed as second and third degree burns. The plaintiff brought this action against the defendant based on negligence.
