On March 18, 1997, plaintiff Barbara Nabozny, a 65-year-old personal assistant, was a passenger in a vehicle stopped in traffic at a red light on Westlake Boulevard in Westlake. The defendant entered a left turn lane and struck the rear of the vehicle occupied by plaintiff causing approximately $3,500 property damage to each vehicles. The plaintiff brought this action against the defendant based on negligence.
