Facts

On May 17, 1998, while being watched by her mother's boyfriend, the plaintiff, a 3+-year-old girl, and her 5-year-old brother rode their bicycles down the block beyond the boundaries that the children had been given. The plaintiff was run over by a full size pick up truck that was backing out of a driveway. The driver, of the pick up truck settled prior to the filing of a complaint for payment of $15,000 policy limits. The plaintiffs brought this action against the defendants based on negligent supervision.

Settlement Discussions

The plaintiffs made a C.C.P. º998 settlement demand for $300,000. The defendants made no offer.
