Facts
On Jan. 25, 2000, the plaintiff, Paul Aguilar was a tow truck driver and was driving his tow truck on his way to a
call. When the plaintiff entered the intersection of Michelson and MacArthur in Irvine, the defendant Nancy
Nguyen ran a red light and broadsided the plaintiffÆs vehicle.
The plaintiff sued the defendant and collected her policy limits of $100,000. The plaintiff then made a claim
under his underinsured motorist coverage.
