Facts
On Sep. 27, 2002, at approximately 7:30 p.m., the plaintiff was commuting home from work on his motorcycle, driving north on Western Avenue and Russell Avenue in Los Angeles. The defendant was driving south on Western, with three children in her SUV and intending to turn left onto Russell Avenue to the Baskin Robbins ice cream store located at the northeast corner of the intersection. The defendant turned left and collided with the plaintiff.
