Facts
On July 25, 2002, the plaintiff, a 19-year-old student, was driving his 1991 Honda CRX northbound in the number 2 lane of Pacific Avenue in Glendale. At the same time, the defendant Andre Davoodian, age 17, was driving south on Pacific in a 1997 Jeep Cherokee, co-registered to Vigen Davoodian. When the defendant entered the intersection of Pacific and California and attempted to make a left turn onto eastbound California, his vehicle collided with Asadorian's Honda, which had also entered the intersection, intending to go straight on Pacific. The plaintiff sued the defendants and alleged vehicular negligence. The defendant Andre Davoodian filed a separate personal injury lawsuit against the plaintiff in respect of personal injuries. Both cases were consolidated for trial.
